Every year during China's summer vacation (July-August) and winter vacation (February), Chinese students in grades 3-12 travel to Canada or the United States to participate in various short-term (2-4 weeks) summer camps, summer schools, winter camps, and transfer programs. The total number of participating students has exceeded 500, with more than 10 types of programs available, including exclusive projects such as the American Ivy League academic program and the Hawaii marine ecology field study.
